As well as The
Clash's and Sex Pistols, Punk threw up a multitude of bands who often
released the one single on their own record label before fading into
obscurity. Some never even made it that far.
Though this site
is primarily concerned with UK Punk 1976-79 I have added a US section as
it is impossible to define & describe Punk rock in isolation to the US.

section is a continual work in progress and attempts to list all those
bands who gave it a go. Old entries for bands are
updated and re-written as new info / pictures come to light
and are often supplemented with interviews and recollections. Check out the
the latest issue of
Punk77 to see recent changes/additions.
If there
are bands you think should be there then
email me and provide
the entry for the site and get a name check. If you can't be bothered to
do that then I can't be bothered to add them.
