| Eternally
Yours (Harvest EMI May 1978)
Internal
squabbles, disaffection with the UK Punk scene, and their label and
management, made this second album for the band difficult. It comes over
a year after their first and starts promisingly enough with This
Perfect Day
but the intent on the cover with Chris Bailey with lanky long hair
continues as they aim to set themselves apart. Horns, harmonicas and
acoustic guitars figure through and excellent album but still
underpinned with Kueppers raw punk guitar. Picks Lost
& Found, Run Down and Know Your Product. Great
but commercial suicide! |
