Before we proceed onto the

life Moors
Murderers and their crimes as it helps to understand the reaction to the band.
The Moors Murderers were Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.
The mere
mention of Myra can provoke a storm of outrage and hate. She and Brady have
entered public consciousness and the image of her with peroxide hair and dark
merciless eyes stands as a personification of
evil. Back in
'77 however, adverse publicity as the Pistols showed was not a bad thing which
will account for why people were willing to be involved or interested.
