Dead Fingers Talk were another band that
collided with Punk Rock and who were both influenced by and sharing
common elements with it. Moving down from Hull they played all the usual
haunts such as the Roxy Club and garnered a fair bit of positive press
about their live performances and debut album produced by hero Mick
Ronson.
However growing pressures, the age old
musical differences, growing apart and the thorny issue of success (and
what it meant) did for them and they split. An interesting band worth
checking out and who further prove just how broad and deep the Punk
church was. |
