'Punk Rock' by Virginia Boston (Penguin '78). An absolute
classic and must haves. Comparable to 'Not Another Punk Book' by Isabella
Anscombe, Virginia's book
shades if for me because the writing is good (it even
has a sensible piece by Danny Baker !!! ), and it gives a
picture of the whole scene from the bands to the fanzines
and fans. The photos are fantastic and again feature some
of the work of Erica Echenberg. |
