I like many others will have fond memories of John Peel and much of the music we heard back in the late seventies and beyond would have been heard on his radio show that ran Monday to Friday 10pm to 12pm. Apart from records, he also had bands doing sessions like Screwdriver and The Crabs and this book details them all and not just the punk ones. It also provides a history of the show and has a punk section. Fascinating and perhaps still the best book about John Peel concentrating on the music.
